Client mode

In Client mode, the module connects to an existing WiFi network.

Router SSID
The name of the network you want to connect to. It can be selected with the Search button.

WiFi Password
The network password (WPA2).

DHCP  WIKI
If checked, the IP address along with other settings is provided by the router.
The IP address can be seen during boot on the serial console or displayed on an external display with the STR[0]=%IP command. Its use is not recommended. Naturally, anyone who sets up a device on their network would prefer to reach it at an IP address they specify, rather than a randomly assigned address by the router.

IP Address  WIKI
This is what you need to enter in the browser's address bar to access the module. The first three numbers must match the first three numbers of the Gateway.

Gateway  WIKI
Router's IP address. It can be found on a Windows machine on the same network by using the ipconfig command in the command prompt.

SubNetMask  WIKI
255.255.255.0

DNS Server  WIKI
Gateway: ISP's DNS server.
8.8.8.8: Google's DNS server.
1.1.1.1: Cloudflare's DNS server.

This description applies to the commonly used 192.168.x.x IP addresses.

HTTP Port  WIKI
If a port other than the default 80 is set, the module can be accessed at IP:PORT (e.g., 192.168.0.88:1234).

MAC address  WIKI
The physical address of the WiFi adapter (STA). It can be manipulated here. This is used for ESP-NOW connection. If multiple modules have the same STA MAC address, they will all receive ESP-NOW messages.
